Texture, colour, found objects and images on Flinders Island, Tasmania, during an Artist in Residence series of workshops in 2015. 34 Workshop participants aged from 2 to 95 years worked to the theme of Flinders Island, looking for inspiration from the colours and textures of the landscape; found rocks, shells, rope, driftwood and the shapes of natural features such as the curve of the waterline on the sand and the silhouette of Mt Strzelecki. The method of working was organic and free-form, where artists inspired each other, as pieces of the wall hanging were created and assembled.
